hsec works by temporary downloading a Web page to the PC's RAM via Winsock and scanning it for various security issues.

The library is capable of detecting HTTP redirects, meta redirects, NOSCRIPT redirects, forms, the presence of Java Applets, Flash pages and scripts in many languages like CGI, Perl, PHP, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, Tcl, etc..

To save the Web page to disk the http C library can be used.
